Annual Member & Grad Student Breakfast at SHA

The SAWH’s Annual Member & Graduate Student Breakfast brings together graduate students with junior and senior scholars, public historians, and others who share an interest in southern and women’s history. The 2022 breakfast will take place during the Southern Historical Association’s annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 12 @ 8:00 AM in Carroll B on the third floor of the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor.

Because the SAWH sees professional mentoring as central to its mission, we invite currently enrolled graduate student members of the organization to attend as our guests. If you are not yet an SAWH member, you may join here and then return to this page to register for the breakfast. Annual dues for student members are $15.

Non-student members of the SAWH are encouraged to purchase tickets for graduate students to help underwrite the cost of the breakfast. You may designate individual students by providing their names as attendees below. Donations to the general graduate student fund are also greatly appreciated!

The SAWH thanks Second Vice President Emily Bingham for organizing the breakfast and Bellarmine University and our generous SAWH members for their support!

To pay online, complete the form below and click Submit. To register and pay by check, please send $20 per ticket with a check made out to “SAWH” with “Breakfast” in the memo line to: Allison Fredette, Executive Secretary, SAWH, Appalachian State University, Department of History, 224 Joyce Lawrence Lane, Anne Belk Hall #248, Boone, NC 28608.
